SHIPPING & RETURNS POLICY

Arrives 3-5 working days

Please note that this does not include weekends or bank holidays, so orders placed on a Friday will not be processed until the following working day. If you have not received your order within 7 working days then please contact us.

Delivery prices are based on the size and weight of the total package.

You may be required to pay extra for delivery to certain locations and it might not be possible for us to deliver to some locations.

Stock permitting, the above delivery estimates are based on placing orders before 16:00 and delivering to Mainland UK

Goods will be delivered to the address you specify for delivery in your order. It is important that this address is accurate. We cannot accept any liability for any loss or damage to the goods once they have been delivered in accordance with your delivery instructions (for example lost packages due to incorrect postal address/postcode supplied by you). We will aim for the goods to be delivered by the date quoted but delivery times are not guaranteed. In any event, we will aim to deliver your goods within 30 days from the day after the day we received your order. If delivery is delayed beyond this time, we will contact you and either agree a mutually acceptable alternative date or offer you a full refund.

Please be aware that we do our upmost to make sure our website stock levels and prices are up to date and accurate, however errors can occur. If we do come across an error with your order in regards to this then we will contact you as soon as possible to inform you and give you the option to reconfirm your order or cancel it. If you have already paid for the goods and have opted to cancel your order then we will refund you the full amount.

Changed your mind?

 

If you would like to return your product/ products we offer a 14 day returns period on any unused goods providing they are returned back to us in their original condition and packaging.

 

A few key points to bare in mind when returning goods:

 

  • All returns must be in their original condition and product packaging

  • You may return your item within 14 days of delivery (starting from the day after delivery)

  • You MUST NOTIFY US BY EMAIL FIRST, then we can advise on the next steps to take. Please do not return an item without first notifying us by email.

  • You are responsible for the cost of the returns and also the associated risks.

  • If you cancel your order but we have already processed the goods for delivery, you should not unpack the goods when they are received by you.

  • The customer must take reasonable care of the product that they wish to return.

  • If items are returned and showing signs of use or unnecessary handling by you then the item will either be sent back to you without refund or exchange (unless it is proven that the item was in this poor condition at point of sale) or we may make a deduction from your refund for any loss in the value of the goods supplied.  

  • It is not possible to exercise your cancellation rights by refusing your parcel on delivery. The cost involved with doing this is approx. £15 which will be passed onto yourself should you choose to do this.

  • Please ensure goods are packed adequately to ensure that your goods are not damaged in transit otherwise we may not be able to offer you a refund/ exchange. We recommend that you use a registered, insured delivery service and keep the receipt as we cannot accept liability for goods damaged or lost in transit.

  • We aim to process a refund within 14 days of receiving the returns goods providing they arrive back in line with our Terms & Conditions.

Oh no! Its Damaged!

 

Oh no! 

We are so sorry your order has arrived damaged!

If you have received damaged or faulty goods then this must be reported with 48 hours. Please keep the original packaging. We will require an email notification and photograph of these damages within 48 hours so that we can claim from our postal courier.

Providing you have notified us within 48 hours, we can offer an exchange (subject to stock availability) or a full refund (including the postage and packaging charge) providing you can prove this to be a genuine circumstance.

I didn't order this? (or) An item is missing...

If you have received the wrong order or we have an item missing from your order then you must inform us within 7 days at: info@thetinycottagecompany.co.uk

Packaging

 

Here at The Tiny Cottage Co. we like to think about the environment and play our part where we can so you may see us reuse packaging from time to time. We will always make sure it is intact and fit for purpose, but if it has a bit more life in it then we like to reuse and save trees!

 

Please do let us know if you prefer us to only use new packaging for your order for example if it is a gift.
